“Bocanegra. The future through a car of the past” is a project that reflects on the evolution of automotive design and how technology has reshaped the industry. It stems from dissatisfaction with the lack of magic and extravagance in today’s cars, questioning whether those of the past carried greater aesthetic and symbolic value.

Through research, I confirmed that there are real reasons behind this loss of character. As a designer and car enthusiast, I set out to redesign a classic model with a contemporary aesthetic while preserving its essence. The chosen model was the SEAT 1200 Sport, known as Bocanegra, used here to demonstrate that a modern car can still carry the charisma of those from the 20th century.
