Georgie is an electric grill designed to reinterpret the traditional barbecue experience in an urban context. The project was born from a very current problem: in big cities, regulations and the lack of outdoor space make it almost impossible to enjoy a BBQ at home.
My proposal is a compact, modular, and dishwasher-safe device, conceived for everyday use in the kitchen. It includes a smoking system that brings back part of the flavor and ritual of cooking over fire, but without flames, smoke, or risks, while also offering a healthier way of cooking by avoiding the use of added oils. This project developed both the technical and aesthetic aspects, combining design and engineering to achieve a realistic product, with feasible production methods and technical solutions adapted to daily life.
